The Computer Whiz
Veronica bought her first computer 5 years ago when she was 64. "I taught myself how to use it, so I could download embroidery patterns. Now I can do a lot of things online, like shop on eBay and pay bills," says Veronica. Her new hobby is scrapbooking, but she also finds time for bingo and bus trips.
Veronica keeps busy, but "My doctor wanted me to lose some weight. I don't like exercising, but I've been walking. The nurse at the surgery said if I just walked every day, I'd lose weight. She was right - I lost 10 kgs!"
